So we’ve dealt with the wettest winter in central Arizona in many, many years.
Now that things have dried out, I was able to go from this:

I’ll post a better pic of the slab after it’s finished curing.
Well if the previous step was “groundbreaking” then this must be groundleveling. lol!
Got the slab frame nice and straight. (well, as close as I can. One diagonal is about 5/16 longer than the other)
Started putting in a thin layer of sand and started digging the hole for the pier. (need a 3′ by 20″ hole!)

My telescope looks soooo pathetic in this pic, lol!
Broke ground today on Serenity Valley Observatory
10×20 shed with a partial roll off roof.
