The past month has been rain all weekend, spend the next week waiting for everything to dry,
and MAYBE get a morning’s worth of work done Saturday morning before the rain comes in.

Let’s not even get into the hassle of dealing with our horses during all this,
or the pain of having to mow all the green crap that has invaded our backyard…

Got the slab frame nice and straight. (well, as close as I can. One diagonal is about 5/16 longer than the other)
Started putting in a thin layer of sand and started digging the hole for the pier. (need a 3′ by 20″ hole!)
